CSIR CRRI JSA Exam Syllabus 2025

Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

The exam consists of two papers:

  1. Paper 1 (Qualifying in nature):
    • Subject: Mental Ability Test.
    • Number of Questions: 100.
    • Maximum Marks: 200.
    • Duration: 90 minutes.
    • Topics: General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Situational Judgment, etc.
  2. Paper 2 (Merit-based evaluation):
    • Subjects:
      • General Awareness: 50 questions (150 marks).
      • English Language: 50 questions (150 marks).
    • Maximum Marks: 300.
    • Duration: 1 hour.
    • Topics:
      • General Awareness: Current affairs, Indian history, geography, science, and technology.
      • English Language: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.

Proficiency Test:

  • A computer typing test will be conducted to assess typing speed and accuracy.
