SVNIT Surat Hiring Activity & Lab Coordinator

The Department of Electronics Engineering, SVNIT Surat is inviting applications for the post of Activity & Lab Coordinator under the MeitY, Government of India-sponsored project on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drone and related Technology). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in drone flight controllers, UAV assembling, aero-modeling, and embedded systems.

Project Overview

This recruitment is part of the Government-backed initiative, “Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft Systems”. Selected candidates will contribute to cutting-edge research in flight dynamics, AI-driven UAV technology, robotics, and application development.

Position Details

Activity & Lab Coordinator	M.E./M.Tech* or B.E./B.Tech* in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence with minimum 1 year relevant experience	2	₹41,000 per month	11 months (extendable up to project duration)

*Candidates must have First Class or a minimum CGPA of 6.5.

Key Responsibilities

Drone Assembling & Flight Control Systems: Work with UAV components, embedded systems, and application development.
Lab Coordination: Manage drone-related experiments and activities.
Research & Development: Implement advanced concepts in flight dynamics, AI, and robotics.

Selection Process

✅ Shortlisting: Based on eligibility criteria.

Important Notes

Selected candidates may enroll for Ph.D./M.Tech (Research) subject to eligibility.
The position is purely contractual for one year, extendable based on performance up to three years.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Employed candidates must submit a No-Objection Certificate (NOC).
