Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad, a unit of the Department of Space, Government of India, has announced Advt. No. 13/2025 for the recruitment of Laboratory Assistants. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. in Physics / Geology / Geophysics / Earth Science / Planetary Science (depending on laboratory).
- Desirable Experience:
- Work under Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) conditions.
- Knowledge of chemical research with geological samples.
- Specialization in optics or laboratory instrumentation.
- Age Limit:
- Maximum 28 years (as on 31st December 2025).
- Age relaxation as per Government of India rules.
Salary
- Consolidated Remuneration: ₹23,500 per month
- Tenure: Initially 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance and laboratory requirements.
Selection Process

- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
