Overview
The Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL), wholly owned by the Government of India, has announced recruitment for 300 Administrative Officers (Scale‑I) including 285 Generalist and 15 Hindi Officers. Candidates can apply online before 15th December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Generalist Officers: Graduate/Post Graduate in any stream with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Hindi Officers: Master’s Degree in Hindi/English or related combinations with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Age Limit: 21–30 years as on 30.11.2025 (Relaxations applicable for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex‑Servicemen, etc.).
- Nationality: Indian citizen or as per Govt. eligibility norms (Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, PIO).
Salary
- Basic Pay: ₹50,925/- in scale ₹50,925–96,765
- Gross Emoluments: Approx. ₹85,000/- per month in metropolitan centers
- Benefits: Pension (NPS), Gratuity, LTS, Medical, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Company/leased accommodation
Selection Process
- Phase I: Preliminary Exam (Objective, 100 marks)
- Phase II: Main Exam (Objective 200 marks + Descriptive 30 marks)
- Phase III: Interview
- Final selection based on performance in Mains + Interview
