🔬 Overview: Join a NIPER Project Scientist-I Research Team
The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), an autonomous body under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, is inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals. This is for the temporary position of NIPER Project Scientist-I under a project entitled “Overcoming the nephrotoxicity and oral delivery challenges of Amphotericin B vis strategic prodrug and nanomedicine approaches,” which is sponsored by ICMR (Project No. GP-492).
This is an exclusive chance to contribute to cutting-edge pharmaceutical research under Prof. Sanyog Jain, Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER-SAS Nagar. The successful candidates will be allowed to register for the PhD program as per NIPER rules. This opportunity is co-terminus with the project duration.

- Tenure: Initially for a period of 01 year and extendable for a maximum period of 04 years, subject to funds availability and project duration.
💸 Salary
The remuneration offered for the NIPER Project Scientist-I post is highly competitive, ensuring talented researchers are compensated for their expertise.
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 56,000/- p.m. plus HRA, as admissible.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must strictly fulfill the essential qualifications to be considered for the walk-in-interview.
- Essential Qualification (Short): First-class M.S. (Pharm.) / M. Pharm. / M. Tech. (Pharm.) or equivalent degree in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Technology/Industrial Pharmacy.
- Desirable Qualification (Preference): Candidates having experience in nanoformulation development, polymer synthesis, molecular biology-based cell culture assays, and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic/toxicity studies in animals will be given preference.

The maximum age for the position is specified as of the date of the interview.
- Maximum Age Limit: 28 years.
- Relaxation: Age relaxation for SC / ST/OBC/PWD, etc., candidates will be applicable as per the Government of India rules. Candidates are required to attach valid proof for claiming relaxation.
