📝 GTU Exam Pattern 2025

For Assistant Librarian & Lab Technician/Assistant Posts:

• Mode: OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (CBRT)
• Duration: 120 minutes
• Medium: English
• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Marking Scheme:
  • +1 for each correct answer
  • −0.25 for each incorrect/multiple/no response
  • No penalty if “E” (No Answer) is selected

🎯 Selection Process

Assistant Librarian:

• Phase 1: Written Exam (Elimination round)
• Phase 2: Personal Interview (100 marks)
• Final selection based solely on interview performance.

Lab Technician & Lab Assistant:

• Phase 1: Written Exam (100 marks)
• Phase 2: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – 50 marks
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint: 20 marks
  • English Typing: 15 marks
  • Gujarati Typing: 15 marks
• Final merit based on combined score (150 marks)
