Gujarat High Court Driver Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2025

The Gujarat High Court Driver Recruitment 2025 will be conducted through a two-stage selection process:

  1. Objective Written Examination (CBT) – 50 Marks
  2. Driving/Skills Test – 100 Marks

Candidates must pass both stages to qualify for the final merit list.


Exam Pattern – Objective Written Examination (CBT)

  • Total Questions: 50 (Objective Type)
  • Total Marks: 50
  • Exam Duration: 60 minutes
  • Negative Marking: 0.33 marks deducted for each incorrect answer
  • Language of Exam: Gujarati

Candidates must score at least 40% marks (20 out of 50) to qualify for the next stage.


Driving/Skills Test Pattern

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Practical Driving Test covering real-world scenarios
  • Minimum Passing Score: 80 Marks

Turning, Overtaking
Parking & Reversing
Traffic Rules Knowledge
Vehicle Maintenance
General Attitude
Road Behavior

Candidates must demonstrate excellent driving skills to clear this stage successfully.


Final Selection Criteria

The final merit list will be based on performance in both rounds. Higher marks in the Driving/Skills Test carry greater weight in selection.


Key Exam Preparation Tips

  1. Practice driving daily – Ensure you have fluency in all test components.
  2. Learn vehicle maintenance – Basic troubleshooting knowledge will be useful.
  3. Revise Gujarati language – Focus on comprehension and grammar.
  4. Stay updated on traffic rules – Thorough knowledge of signs and regulations.
  5. Mock tests – Solve past papers to improve speed and accuracy.
