The High Court of Gujarat is hiring Legal Assistants (23 vacancies) on a contractual basis. The role offers ₹60,000/month fixed remuneration, with an initial tenure of 11 months, extendable for up to another 11 months. Applications open on 01 May 2025 and close on 19 May 2025. Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria :

  • Age Limit: Not more than 26 years as of 19/05/2025.
  • Education: Fresh Graduates in Law with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
  • Other Requirements:
    • Basic knowledge of computers.
    • Proficiency in Gujarati language.

  • ₹500 plus bank charges (to be paid online via SBI e-Pay).

  • Written Test: 100 MCQs (2 hours; negative marking: -0.25 for wrong answers).
    • Topics include:
      • Constitution of India, Indian Penal Code, Evidence Act, etc.
      • General Knowledge, English Language, Computer Skills, General IQ.
  • Viva-Voce Test: Minimum 50% marks required for selection.
