CSIR CRRI Junior Stenographer Exam Syllabus 2025

Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

The examination will be conducted in two stages:

1. Written Examination:

  • General Intelligence:
    • Verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
    • Analogy, classification, coding-decoding.
    • Number and alphabetical series, etc.
  • General Awareness:
    • Current affairs.
    • Indian polity, economy, history, and geography.
    • Science and technology, environmental issues.
  • English Language:
    • Grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction.
    • Comprehension and essay writing.

2. Skill/Proficiency Test:

  • Stenography Test:
    • Speed: 80/100 words per minute (as per guidelines).
    • Transcription: On the computer, within specified time limits.
